Celebrating World Environment Day

In recent we have seen a sudden increase in the number of earthquakes, floods, tornados, rise in temperatures, less than normal rains, and volcanic eruptions, this is all because we are playing with rules of nature. World Environment Day (WED) provided us the platform to think and take action in direction to make our planet better to live.

World Environment Day is celebrated every year on 5th June to raise global awareness of the need to take positive environmental action. It is run by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). It was the day that United Nations Conference on the Human Environment began. The United Nations Conference on the Human Environment was from 5–16 June 1972. It was established by the United Nations General Assembly in 1972.The first World Environment Day was celebrated in 1973. World Environment Day is hosted every year by a different city with a different theme and is commemorated with an international exposition in the week of 5 June.

Theme for World Environment Day 2012:

The theme for World Environment Day 2012 is Green Economy: Does it include you? The UN Environment Program, a green economy can be thought of as one which is low carbon, resource efficient and socially inclusive. The green economy will improve human well-being and social equity, while significantly reducing environmental risks and ecological scarcities .

The second part of the theme suggests that if the Green Economy is about social equity and inclusiveness then technically it is all about you! The question therefore asks you to find out more about the Green Economy and assess whether, in your country, you are being included in it.

Small steps to save our Environment:

We all are aware of what to do to save the environment but somehow we do not follow these rules. Let’s take small steps to save our earth:

Spunbonded nonwovens technological industry

Spunbond is the most important and widely used method in meltspinning nonwovens production. Applying the spinning principle of chemical fiber, the polymer turned into continuous filament by melting and spinning. The web formed by the filaments is bonded by the mechanical, chemic or thermbonding method. The spunbond process is short and efficient, having considerable cost advantage mass production. And the physics mechanical performance of the spunbonded nonwovens, such as the tensile, the elongation, and the tensile ratio of CD and MD is superior to other products. Spunbonded nonwovens products are applied to varies fields, such as apparel, decorative material, health care material, geotextile and material for agriculture, etc. So the PP spunbonded nonwovens products have extensive market.

Spunbonded nonwovens technological industry originated from the 1960′s. The early Spunbonded equipment cost and the energy consumption were high while the fiber denier, the web uniformity and product efficiency were not satisfying. Since the 1990′s, the world Spunbonded technology tended to the micro-fiber, multicomponent, multi-polymer spinning and the process combination. The Spunbonded nonwoven have got a significant development taking the advantage of the increasing output and the reducing cost.

Participants presented come from five companies, including more than 20 foreign trade staffs.
The content of the training can be listed as follows.

Not all our customers will become our target customers, and not all customer companies can provide the same high quality service as we have expected.
2. How to skillfully reply to customers’ inquiry to meet their demands. First of all, you should earnestly analyze customers’ inquiry, understand its core requirements, and then concisely answer their core problems. Secondly, according to your experience, you can bring customers some useful information and they will appreciate that.
3. The core ideas in the process of customer service: perspective taking. What are our customer expectations and what can we do for them? How to provide effective services to reduce customers’ time and save their energy? These are all what should probe into.
Our company has not only sent old salesmen and business managers to this training, but also paid much attention to cultivate new talents. As the company’s business is developing rapidly, we have promoted some new business assistants and arranged them to participate in the training.
